1- Cleaning emulsion pipes for machine tools

Regular maintenance of machine tool coolant emulsion lines is often overlooked, until problems become impossible to ignore.

The recirculation of this emulsion causes inevitable sedimentation, which progressively obstructs the fluid flow due to layers of lubricant solidifying on the walls of the pipe, reducing its cross-section.

In this video, we see a cleaning operation on a system that is only 6 years old. You can see how, on a 1/2" line approximately 20m long, enough deposits were removed to fill almost three 1L bottles.

Addressing this issue with preventative maintenance helps maintain the efficiency of the lubrication system, ensuring optimal flow prevents premature tool wear.

Avoiding the wait for complete obstruction and solidification allows the problem to be resolved easily, before it's too late, when the only solution would be to completely replace the pipes.

2- Cleaning rusty pipes with an abrasive projectile

Using abrasive projectiles further improves the removal of stubborn deposits, such as rust. As you can see in the video, the projectile can be used without any problems even on a curved section of pipe.

Used in combination with the Complex projectile, it can effectively remove deposits from the inside wall of the pipe.

3- LPG pipeline cleaning 70m

This video shows the key steps in cleaning a pipeline for transporting LPG gas from the outside of the warehouse to the internal utilities. The system being cleaned was located at the plant of a leading Italian pipe manufacturer.

The 1" diameter pipeline was cleaned very effectively, as can be seen from the row of slugs used. The first ones were obviously very dirty and were not sufficient to completely remove the inevitable oily residues that regularly deposit on the internal walls during the gas flow. After several passes, however, the situation improved, reaching such a high level of internal cleanliness that there was no residue left on the slugs.

This is a very important operation that must be performed at regular intervals to keep the entire system operating at peak efficiency.

4- Cleaning cooling pipes of machine tools with emulsion

A demonstration of how to clean an underground machine tool cooling pipe, almost completely clogged with old oil, metal dust, and other debris.

The piping consists of a main pipe approximately 150 meters long with an internal diameter of 42 mm, connected in a T-shaped to several pipes with an internal diameter of 19 mm. The cleaning of a pipe composed of bends, ball valves, and tubes of various materials (steel and rubber) is clearly demonstrated.

With ALKA Pro-Clean system, we cleaned the entire pipe in just a few hours and with just a few projectiles, avoiding its replacement, which would have required several days of work and production downtime, resulting in high costs.
