1- Cleaning of a stainless steel tube for hydraulics and possible degreasing

A demonstration of how simple it is to perfectly clean pipes intended for hydraulic use, where the tolerated level of internal contamination is extremely stringent.

The second part of the video shows how, more generally, it is also possible to degrease the pipe's interior by combining the mechanical action of the projectile with chemical action, soaking it in a suitable liquid. If desired, the projectile can be impregnated with hydraulic oil to lubricate the pipe internally, as a protection against potential oxidation for non-stainless steel pipes.

2- Hydraulic hose cleaning

The first thing to do is check the quality of the coil. A quick shot of tens or even hundreds of meters of coil takes just a few seconds and allows you to determine whether the inner core of the hose is well vulcanized or whether it tends to continually shed rubber particles.

Once this is established, the risk of contamination arises during the cutting phase, where particles of various sizes are created, which are important to remove before fitting. Hoses can be cleaned even when already fitted, but whenever possible, we recommend doing so before installing the fittings.

3- Hydraulic piping cleaning with PYPLOK fittings

The PYPLOK mechanical seal welding solution (distributed in Italy by Hexafluid s.r.l.), shown in this video, demonstrates how pairing with the ALKA Pro-Clean system is ideal for achieving the best possible results in terms of cleaning from processing residues.

The fact that no slag is created during the welding process allows the projectiles to effectively remove cutting residues and construction site dust, quickly restoring a pipe suitable for use in the most demanding fields.

4- Hydraulic revamp of a rolling mill

The hydraulic revamping project at Eredi Gnutti S.p.A., carried out by System Fluid s.r.l., involved the complete replacement of the hydraulic piping on a Mino LQ65 copper, brass, and bronze rolling mill. Gusmeri Automazione, an authorized Bosch Rexroth distributor, supplied a new low-pressure power unit and new valve banks, in addition to overhauling the high-pressure power unit.

The new lines were constructed using the WalformPlus system, which prevents excessive slag generation from the welding process and minimizes the presence of processing residues within the circuit. Traditional oil flushing was entirely replaced with mechanical cleaning using the ALKA Pro-Clean system, which, in just a few hours, removed all particles and residual contamination during line assembly, ensuring immediate start-up without any downtime.

5- 130mm hydraulic piping cleaning

An example of cleaning a series of 130mm flanged pipes for hydraulic applications. The interconnection of the individual segments does not affect the projectile's ability to travel the entire length.

The operation allows the removal of metal shavings, various processing residues, and extremely dangerous welding residues.

6- Cleaning an 80mm Hydraulic Cylinder

A demonstration of how to clean and degrease hydraulic cylinder tubes. This is a simple, effective, and faster method than manual cleaning with a brush. Using a brush takes several minutes per cylinder, and the level of cleanliness depends greatly on the operator's skill. However, you can never manually achieve the level of cleanliness achieved with our projectiles, which always guarantee optimal results.
Cleaning a cylinder takes only a few seconds, with the great advantage of significantly saving on labor costs. It's important to wet the projectile with the appropriate degreasing liquid. In this case, we can observe the cleaning of an 80 mm internal diameter, but it is also possible to clean larger diameters, e.g., 150 mm.

7- Cleaning (new) piping of a hydraulic power unit

A demonstration of how to clean the hydraulic power lines of a new hydraulic power plant. In this case, approximately 20 pipes of varying diameters, each approximately 30 meters long, were shaped, welded, and connected.

A simple, effective, and fast cleaning method, much less expensive than oil flushing.
Our mechanical system eliminates even the most hazardous particles, which tend not to detach from the internal walls of the pipe during the simple passage of oil, but which can detach after days or months of system operation.
