1- Stainless steel tube cleaning
A demonstration of how easily you can clean and degrease stainless steel pipes (in this case liquid oxygen pipes) with the ALKA Pro-Clean pipe cleaning system, by firing special projectiles using a specific compressed air gun.
2- Cleaning of 1mm diameter Nitinol tube
A demonstration of how it is possible to clean tubes with diameters even smaller than 1 mm. In this case, the cleaning was performed on a 1.2 mm outer diameter/0.8 mm inner diameter Nitinol tube.
This delicate material, with superelastic and shape-memory properties, finds particularly sophisticated and specific applications in the medical, aerospace, and robotics sectors.
It should be emphasized that cleaning parts with such a small size is not a simple task; this limits the choice of applicable mechanical methods and also the effectiveness of other solutions that rely on the cleaning power of fluids. The projectile allows for effective cleaning and a quick visual assessment of the result.
3- Cleaning a (new) insulated copper air conditioning pipe
This demonstrates how much soot and dangerous copper particles can be found in new and plugged copper pipes.
These metal particles, free to circulate throughout the system if not first removed through cleaning, can cause serious damage to machinery and components.
4- Cleaning a 2km long (new) copper coil
A demonstration of how to detect soot in a coil of pipe up to 2 km long. Soot is created when the pipe has not been adequately degreased before annealing in the furnace.
Time to perform the operation: 4 minutes.
