1- Cleaning of a stainless steel tube for hydraulics and possible degreasing

A demonstration of how easy it is to perfectly clean tubes intended for hydraulic use, where the tolerated level of internal contamination is extremely stringent. In the second part of the video, it is shown how, more generally, it is also possible to degrease the inside of the tube by combining the mechanical action of the projectile with the chemical action, soaking it with a suitable liquid. If desired, the projectile can be impregnated with hydraulic oil in order to lubricate the inside of the tube, as protection against possible oxidation for non-stainless steel tubes.

2- Cleaning hydraulic hose

The first thing to do is to check the quality of the coil; unrolling tens or even hundreds of meters of the roll takes only a few seconds and allows you to check whether the inner core of the tube is well vulcanized or if it tends to continuously lose rubber particles. Once this is established, the risk of contamination comes from the cutting phase, where particles of various sizes are created, which is important to remove before proceeding to fitting. The tubes can also be cleaned after they have been fitted, but when possible, we recommend carrying out this operation before installing the fittings.

3- Cleaning of hydraulic piping with PYPLOK fittings

The mechanically sealed weldless connection solution PYPLOK (distributed in Italy by Hexafluid s.r.l.), shown in this video, demonstrates how pairing it with the ALKA Pro-Clean system is ideal in order to achieve the best possible result in terms of cleaning from machining residues. The fact that no slag is created during the welding operation allows the projectiles to remove cutting residues and construction dust very effectively, quickly restoring piping suitable for use in the most demanding fields.

4- Hydraulic revamping of a rolling mill

The hydraulic revamping operation at Eredi Gnutti S.p.A., carried out by System Fluid s.r.l., involved the complete replacement of the hydraulic piping of a Mino LQ65 rolling mill for copper, brass, and bronze. Gusmeri Automazione, authorized distributor of Bosch Rexroth, supplied a new low-pressure power unit and new valve banks, as well as handling the revamping of the high-pressure power unit.

The new lines were made with the WalformPlus system, in order to avoid excessive production of slag resulting from the welding process and thus minimize the presence of machining residues inside the circuit. The traditional oil flushing was completely replaced with mechanical cleaning carried out using the ALKA Pro-Clean system, with which, in just a few hours, all particles and residual contaminants were removed at the time of line assembly, thus ensuring immediate start-up and no plant downtime.

5- Hydraulic piping 130mm cleaning

An example of cleaning a series of 130mm flanged pipes for hydraulic use. The interconnection of the individual segments does not affect the ability of the projectile to travel the entire length.

The operation allows the removal of metal shavings, various machining residues, and extremely dangerous welding residues.

6- Cleaning of an 80mm Hydraulic Cylinder

A demonstration of how to clean and degrease tubes for hydraulic cylinders. A simple, effective, and fast method compared to manual cleaning with a brush. Using a brush takes several minutes per cylinder and the level of cleanliness depends greatly on the operator's skill, but you can never manually achieve the level of cleanliness obtained with our projectiles, which always guarantee an optimal result.
Cleaning a cylinder takes only a few seconds, with the great advantage of significant savings on labor costs. It is important to wet the projectile with the appropriate degreasing liquid. In this case, you can see the cleaning of an 80 mm internal diameter, but it is also possible to clean larger diameters, e.g. 150 mm.

7- Cleaning of (new) pipes of a Hydraulic Power Unit

A demonstration of how it is possible to clean the hydraulic supply pipes of a hydraulic power unit in a new installation. In this case, it involved about 20 pipes of different diameters, each about 30 meters long, shaped, welded, and connected.

A simple, effective, fast way to clean, and with much lower costs compared to flushing with oil.
With our mechanical system, even the most dangerous particles can be eliminated, those that tend not to detach from the inner walls of the pipe during the simple passage of oil, but which may detach after days or months of operation of the system.
